Five Best Things about Socialism:
1. In socialism, the lower class must provide the farming industry which helps build up the higher class and government owned farms. This provides space for a well qualified leader to do their job.
2. Socialism strives to expand life expectancy by providing healthcare for all. This also helps with life qualities in a socialist environment.
3. Socialism is against discrimination of class, so they provide education for everyone, allowing anyone to get an education.
4. Socialism is not only against class discrimination, but also wealth advantages.
5. Socialism gives a lot of responsibilities to the government, which helps citizens everyday lives.
Five Worst Things about Socialism:
1. Socialism obtains forced labor camps, causing many problems in production processes. In these camps, the workers have no experience, and are forced to do work, making their motivation minimal.
2. A socialist government takes away many personal rights of the citizens, causing them lack of privacy.
3. Because socialism promises such services, the provided aids could lack experience to allow everyone equality.
4. Even though the government promises to take on such burdens of the people’s lives, they could make mistakes that could affect the citizens live’s in negative ways. If any mistakes were made, each citizen could be at risk financially and beyond.
5. Socialism accepts government discrimination, and keeps from what would typically stop the government from separating people into groups.
Five Pieces of Evidence Against Socialism:
1. A black market is now considered a bad thing, and that is essentially what the socialistic government made itself to be. They achieved this by lying, stealing and forcing labor.
2. Soviet production advancements were little to none, and very unpredictable. The low production can be held accountable to collectivization.
3. Overall, collectivization was not beneficial in any way, and actually began to cause problems in the USSR.
4. The CIA shows the falsely portrayed statistics of growth, which shows the lack of honesty from the government.
5. They deprived each citizen from basic rights including freedom of speech, and wrapped them into their own structure.
Five Words and Definitions:
1. artel: a cooperative association of craftsmen living and working together.
2. Consolidated: make something physically stronger
3. Blockheaded: a stupid person
4. opportunism: taking advantage of opportunities when they arise, regardless of planning or principle.
5. procurement: the action of obtaining something.
